Jason’s service to the public began long before his law enforcement career. He served in the US Army from 1989 to 2007, including fifteen years as a non-commissioned officer for his squad, platoon, company and battalion.

With over eighteen years of service as an Infantryman and Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, Detective Jason Hicks gained an immense amount of experience as a leader. This valuable experience prepared him to lead his soldiers in high-stress situations while serving abroad, as well as, lead them stateside in their everyday lives.
